A guided meditation to help you slow down after a difficult call, tense interaction, or scene that is still sitting with you. This is not about pretending it did not affect you. It is about giving your body and mind a place to come down.
Best used: after a difficult call, disturbing scene, tense interaction, use-of-force incident, child call, fatal crash, suicide call, or anytime something feels like it is sticking with you.
1. Find a place where you can be still for a few minutes.
2. Put both feet on the floor if possible.
3. Take on slow breath before starting.
4. You do not need to process everything right now.
5. Press play and let the audio guide you through it.
Take a moment before moving on. The call may still be there, but it may feel a little less sharp or less front-and-center. Even a small amount of space can help.
Helps interrupt the mental loop that can happen after difficult calls.
Supports slowing your breathing and releasing tension after stress.
Helps separate the call from the rest of your day so you are not carrying it every second.
