When your body leaves the shift, but your mind and nerves do not.
When staying alert starts following you into places that are supposed to feel safe.
Your shift may be over, but your body can still feel like it needs to stay ready.
Put it down for now.
Not ignoring it. Not minimizing it. Just setting it somewhere on purpose so it does not follow you into everything else.
