A short breathing tool to help bring your body down when stress, pressure, or irritation starts building.
Best used: When you feel keyed up, tense, irritated, overstimulated, or close to reacting too fast.
Sit or stand still for a moment.
Don’t rush into the reset. Let yourself pause before you do anything else.
Put both feet on the floor.
Let your weight settle. Feel the ground underneath you.
Drop your shoulders.
Unclench your jaw if you notice it’s tight. Let your hands loosen.
Breathe in through your nose if you can.
Keep it easy. Don’t force a deep breath.
Let the exhale be longer than the inhale.
The goal is not to clear your mind. The goal is to bring your system down.
Press play and follow the count.
Just stay with the audio. One breath at a time.
Notice if your body came down even one notch. You may not feel fully calm, but you may have just enough space to choose your next move.
When your body feels activated and hard to slow down.
When you feel close to snapping, reacting, or saying something sharp.
When the stress is over, but your body has not gotten the message yet.
